The journey

We set out from Krk and cross Serbia on the way to Romania. As we approach the Carpathians, the roads wind higher and the landscapes open up. Transalpina and Transfăgărășan each get their own riding day, so there is time to enjoy both.

Between them lie Transylvania’s historic cities and mountain scenery. We stop in Sibiu and Brașov, visit the towns and castles along the route, and make room to explore on foot.

The journey loops back through western Romania and Serbia to Krk. It is a ride for people who want to experience the famous mountain roads and discover the places between them.
