Travellers together among green mountains on the SOKOL journey
In the mountains along our Balkan journey

The journey

We set out from Krk beside the Adriatic Sea, following the coastal road south before turning towards the mountains of Montenegro. With every day, the landscape and rhythm of the journey change.

Komovi, Durmitor, Piva and Lovćen bring us into a wilder mountain world. Albania adds another character to the ride, while monasteries, old towns and rivers invite us to slow down and look beyond the next bend.

Through Herzegovina and Bosnia, the route leads north again. Plitvice Lakes is one of our final great stops in nature before we return to Krk and close the circle by the sea.
