The journey

We leave Krk, cross Slovenia and ride into the Austrian Alps. High roads, mountain lakes and towns such as Berchtesgaden and Innsbruck give each day a different character.

Grossglockner, Timmelsjoch, Jaufenpass and Brenner are part of the story, but TIRO is more than a collection of passes. We also leave the motorcycles for a while to visit places worth exploring on foot.

Hallstatt, the lakes of the Salzkammergut, Krimml and Kranjska Gora bring a change of pace before the road takes us back to the Adriatic and Krk.

From Krk we cross Slovenia and reach the Austrian mountains at Bad Kleinkirchheim.

From Bad Kleinkirchheim we follow mountain roads and Alpine lakes to St. Wolfgang.

From St. Wolfgang we enter Bavaria and finish the day in Berchtesgaden.

From Innsbruck we enjoy a loop through the Bavarian countryside before returning to Innsbruck.

Offer option: bed & breakfast

Included: Ten nights in hotels, ten breakfasts, nine guided riding days, tour planning and guidance, and a pre-arranged transfer from Rijeka Airport. The first night is on Krk, before we set off together.

Not included: Airfare, other airport transfers, motorcycle rental, fuel, tolls, vignettes and parking, lunches, dinners, snacks and drinks, entrance tickets and transport for optional activities, personal expenses and a single-room supplement.
